Best Practice July 2010 Data Update
The Best Practice July 2010 Data Update has been released in two versions:
1) Incremental update (23MB) for servers running BP 1.7.0.501 or higher that have already installed last month’s June 2010 data update.
2) Comprehensive update (44MB) for servers running BP 1.7.0.501 or higher and that have not installed the June 2010 data update.
You do not need to install this update if you have already installed the 1.7.1.516 program update!
The Incremental update requires that the June 2010 update has been installed. If the June 2010 update has not been installed, you will need to install the Comprehensive update.
The Comprehensive updates require that the February 2010 update has been installed.
It is not necessary to install both an Incremental and a Comprehensive update.
To determine the last update that has been installed:
- Open Best Practice
- Click the "Help" menu
- Select "About"
- Check "Last Drug Update:"

If you have not updated to the February 2010 data, the update can be downloaded here.
If you have not updated your current installation to the minimum version of 1.7.0.501, please contact support@bpsoftware.com.au to arrange a disc to be sent to you.
