Best Practice 1.6.1.432 Update
The 1.6.1.432 update is designed to upgrade installations of Best Practice 1.5.2.375 or higher. If you do not have 1.5.2.375 installed, you will need to contact Best Practice via email sales@bpsoftware.com.au to obtain a full 1.6.1.432 installation disk. Please check your current program version to ensure you have the correct version installed.
Please ensure that the following is performed prior to installing the upgrade:-
- Perform a Best Practice backup
- Upload any BP remote sessions to the server
- Best Practice is closed on the target machine
Please install this update to the Server prior to installing to the workstations.
Important
A. Best Practice recommends updating the server outside of business hours or when the server is not under load as this LIVE upgrade contains substantial changes to your database. Apply to the server first, then each client.
B. This update contains a prompt to install Medicare Online claiming in Best Practice. If you use a 3rd party billing package linked to Best Practice - do NOT install the "Medicare Online Claiming" component during the installation process.
C. Existing Best Practice Management Users - After installation, log into Best Practice. Go to Setup > Users. Edit each user’s account, click ‘Set Reports’ and select the reports that you would like the user to have access to.
