A disk containing this update will be sent by mail to every registered user, so if you have trouble downloading it from here, there is no need to contact Technical Support to request that a disk is sent. You will receive one automatically within the next few days.
Please ensure that the following is performed prior to installing the upgrade:-
- Perform a Best Practice backup.
- Upload any BP remote sessions to the server.
- Ensure that Best Practice is closed on the target machine.
This update must be applied to the Server before installing to the workstations.
Important
This upgrade contains a number of fixes to the Medicare Online Claiming module and needs to update the database tables used by this component. If you have been using Medicare Online Claiming, this upgrade could take several hours to install on the server and during that time, performance could be affected significantly on all workstations on the network. Best Practice recommends updating the server outside of business hours or when the server is not under load. After applying to the server, the upgrade can then be applied to each workstation. On a workstation, the upgrade should only take a few minutes. While upgrading workstations, Best Practice can be used on other computers on the network and its performance should not be affected.
